Leah Mariani  / "Red Socks"

Leah Mariani’s latest series depicts women who are standing or sitting, crouched or squatting, folded and/or sleeping. The artist is interested in the way the figure is contained within the boundary of the canvas. The lines on the clothing accentuate the movement of the figure within the constrained space and give the work a graphic quality that contrasts with the realism of the skin tones.

Mariani has chosen a soft, muted color palette with warm oranges and subdued greens, which gives the painting a calming but somewhat melancholic atmosphere. The subject is a seated figure, likely female, with closed eyes, suggesting a moment of reflection or inner peace.

The use of lines, particularly on the clothing, adds a dynamic contrast to the smooth skin tones, creating a rhythm in the otherwise static posture of the figure. The stripes, which are prominent both on the top and pants, give the figure a structural and almost geometric quality. The shoes are drawn more abstractly, almost blending into the ground with the light, sketch-like outline.

The contrast between the detailed rendering of the hands and face, and the more stylized approach to the clothing, emphasizes the emotional depth of the subject. The face and hands draw attention to the human vulnerability, while the clothes seem to serve as an outer shell, structured yet less significant than the person themselves.

Overall, the artwork feels personal, as if it's capturing a quiet moment of introspection or self-awareness. There’s a beautiful tension between the soft, human aspects and the more rigid, linear elements, inviting the viewer to ponder the emotions and story behind the image.

LAUSILLA / “En el salón con la alfombra”

Lausilla who has a unique style with vivid colors and original lines, turns many objects that we see in everyday life and do not attach much meaning to into great works of art.

“In the living room with the carpet” a contemporary art proposal that invites us to sit and reflect on the chair and the multiple interpretations of this concept in society.

Lausilla, through her work, explores the way in which the chair can be used as a metaphor to explore the relationship between the individual and the environment that surrounds them.

Dario Mancini art work

Dario Mancini  / "Sick"

Dario Mancini, one of the artists that caught our radar. Yes, he is influenced by street art and pop culture, and you can see these findings in his works.

We reviewed his work called “Sick” and it left a nostalgic impression on us with the shabby technique he used.

Inspired by masters such as Kahlo and Basquiat, @dar_mancini is quite productive and exhibits his works on his own instagram profile.

David Hathaway

David Hathaway  / “D.O.G.O.D.”

New York-based artist David Hathaway caught the attention of our curators with his unique technique.

Influenced by surrealism, the artist creates his own language with the punctuation technique.

As can be seen in this work, there is a fine and detailed workmanship. Micro touches create a very wide composition and fascinate art lovers with this illusion.

There is an Instagram page where Hathaway shares many of his works like this: @davidhathawayart

Linda Clerget / "Rollers et palmiers"

French artist Clerget fascinates people with her neo-impressionist works. In this work, she adds depth to her composition with her unique brush touches. In addition, the harmony in the colors she uses causes us to get excited while looking at the work.

The artist, who makes use of nature in most of his works, creates an environment between reality and imagination in this work.

The aesthetic female figure she uses finds its place in nature, and the details of skates and clothes add action to the painting.

@linda.clerget has many outstanding works like this one, we highly recommend you to follow her.
