Here's our short Q&A with her:

Who is Olga? Could you briefly introduce yourself?

Hello I am Olga Tkebuchava, 26 years old ,from Georgia.I always was creative person from childhood. Was striving for new. to find out something that nobody knows ...To come up with new ideas you need to look up for them in literally every spot and thats why my eyes were always open from the beginning, I think my strong quality is that I am very awakened!

Can you tell us about your journey as an illustrator? How did u get started?

I started creating "Graphic design" stuff when I was in second year of my collage in New York city.I had a class of graphic design and that on the first day I decided I will become one,(and also my teacher too)... My father bought me every equipment I needed and he was happier then me but little bit confused I choose not an usual profession. But after then I started working daily. and everyone became even more excited about that around! My friends saw me from different angle, they were like wow!

Who are your biggest influences or inspirations in the art world?

My biggest influence in the art world is Paul Cézanne and Henry

Matisse. Also impressionists, because they all have in common the

spontaneity that is needed in art to create. They are not thinking a lot what and how they do, they just do what comes to their minds and that if is beautiful.Every thing in the world does not have to be analyzed but lived through, lightly.

How has your style evolved since you began illustrating?

When I started It was drastically different, lines were one dimensional and there was literally nothing to say but after some time my mind became wider and wider, I became different person also.

Can you walk us through your creative process from concept to

completion?

I create things that can be described as maybe"not important" but are very important .Like line can be seriously important if you pay attention closely to it.When you look at sun rays shining on some old book or you also smell that book or suddenly thunder sound comes on some gray evening and children start yelling in the street, there is always some atmosphere that is made. Its just random scenes or moments that can make up whole new worlds. If one can feel this moments ,that can be the greatest experience a human being ! I don't say they are illusions. I say if you live through them you are maybe an artist or just very interesting human being! This is the point of view I have and I when I feel something I start drawing and I feel every moment.

What tools or mediums do you prefer to use in your illustrations, and why?

I draw on iPad. I love drawing in digital format because that in some new dimension nobody know about...Its interesting.

How do you handle creative blocks or moments when inspiration is

lacking?

I wait for another moment or thought and it appears!

Do you prefer working digitally or traditionally, and what are the

benefits and challenges of each?

I prefer digitally as I said earlier because It's something "New" and also "Cool"

How do you stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the

illustration world?

I always look at everyone around!I have many illustrators following on my instagram page! But I just make my own things.

Does the region you live in influence your artistic mind?
