Could you introduce yourself a little?
I'm a poetic inspired mixed media artist just starting out.
What are your personal tastes?
I love all genres of art,music and poetry and that is why I love mixed media art, it captures my aesthetic.
Are there any artists that influence you?
Too many artists to choose from that inspire me but I do remember as a child one particular piece of art stood out and that was Picasso’s demoiselle d’avignon. I grew up in a home that had no art on the walls and it just blew my mind when I saw it in a book.
How would you describe your art?
My art is poetic and emotional. It is mostly contemporary but has abstract elements to it at times. It can be light and dark depending on my mood. I draw inspiration from myth, poetry and use music to pull an emotion out when I am painting.
